Duty Station: preferable base is Myanmar if situation allows (depending on security and visa restrictions). Split approximately 50:50 between Bangkok, Thailand and Yangon, Myanmar is expected currently.

People in Need (PIN) is an international, non-profit organization providing humanitarian and development assistance around the world. In Myanmar, People in Need started to work in 2002, when it launched the financial assistance to civil society groups and provided humanitarian response to people affected by Cyclone Nargis in 2008. PIN supports local civil society partners with focus on strengthening local civil society organizations and providing them with the necessary knowledge and funding.
Responsibility for overall Country program economy (preparation of the operational budget and its regular update, proper budgeting, cash flow, and cost efficiency monitoring, etc.);
Assists the CMT in the management of the country programme, participates in the senior management meetings, and pro-actively takes part in the decision-making process;
Promotes team spirit, a culture of respect, personal responsibility, transparency and openness; builds capacities of the national finance team;
Ensures PIN procedures, policies and guidelines related to finance and operations are known and respected (Navision, ELO approval, Cost Allocation Policy, etc.);
Acts as a team leader and is responsible for adherence to Human Resources (HR) procedures;
Ensures compliance with internal procedures, donors´ rules, and country-specific regulations and legal framework.
