Women and Early Child development:
a) Every day women have become the victim of torture and battered by men in the society Women have been subjected to various forms of torture such as forced early marriage, dowry. divorce.
multi marriage, acid burn, rape and deprivation of liberty of speech and basic rights. Necessary,
activities and programs would be undertaken to create awareness among the people in order to
protect and emancipate women from all these forms of ‘exploitations.
b) As per the United Nations Conventions on rights of children (77) and its protocol, to undertake activities to protect children along with the government commitments. The efforts will also focus
on Millennium Development Goals (MDCs) and look after basic literacy education among under
privileged children in the remote and indigenous communities.
c) To protect children f}om trafficking, arrange food. shelter, sustenance and education for the
orphans and destitute children keeping the overall goal of MDCs as the basis.
d) To abolish child labors and organize constructive social activities sports. cultural. educative and
refreshment programs for the mental and intellectual development of the destitute children of the
area.
e) To arrange rehabilitation program for the victim of recovered children from human trafficking
bonded labor. early marriage and sex slavery.
Hlealth Services
a) Establishment of Mother and Child Care (MCH), Family’ Planning and Child Welfare Institution. and mobilization of the local community towards sanitation activities”
b) To undertake preventive activities against the use of heroine, alcohols and any form of drug abuses and protect people from HIV/AIDS and many other Sexually Transmitted Disease.
c) To observe different Days and Weeks enshrined at National & international events and undertake relevant activities accordingly.
d) To publish bulletins and magazines in view to cre3te community awareness on any relevant issue that focuses on spread of-communicable diseases and surveillance.
